I'm just going to use this thread as a FB #2 notepad, other's are welcome to chime in.

Some info. I've found previously.

I still have yet to come across a 2nd print (glossy cover stock).

the "3rd print" (matt paper with blue interior covers), but that has the FB#2 ad (instead of the BA#1 ad) on the inside back cover is about .25" taller (standing up).

The old 6th print with white interior covers and .50c cover price has both the Cocaine and Dirty Duck T-shirts in the ad removed.

The 3rd print with blue interior covers and the "Free Funnies" ad seems to have either had multiple print run or a large print run as this printing seems "TOO" plentiful, compared to others.

It appears I've come across 3 different printings of the .60 cent cover price print.
1st has white interior covers and the back inside cover ad for the T-shirts has the 2 T-shirts (Cocaine and Dirty Duck) removed. On the back cover there is no 2 "scratches" in the printing plate (green part) that curve out from the left two corners of the back coupon to the left edge of the cover. Cover paper is glossy. Dots in the orange on front cover are very apparent. Staple placement is MUCH closer together than the following two.
2nd is same but does have the "scratches" in the printing plate. Cover paper is more glossy. Dots on orange on front cover is less apparent. About .25" taller.
3rd is with the "scratches" like 2nd, but has all the T-shirt ads removed. Cover Paper is more glossy. Dots on orange on front cover is less apparent like the 2nd. About .25" taller.

Here's a undocumented $2.50/Can. $3.50 cover price variant.


As for the newly discovered printings that have the FB #2 ad on the back inside cover (one with a blue cover, one with a multiple colors or light blue, green and dark blue), I'm leaning towards the fact that the blue one came out before the multicolored one and the multicolored one appears to have come out as last of the 50 cent cover price prints before the 3 printings of the 60 cent cover price variants.

There are two printings at least with a $2.00 cover price, one with just a Red $2.00 and another with a Black 2.00 / 2.95 in Canada.

There is also a version with a Black price in a Yellow circle that begins with $2.xx (only 1 price, no Canada).

There are two pink paper versions, one with the later B&W interior covers and one with the earlier Blue interior covers.

These are the newly discovered printings not listed in the Fogel Guide:

50 cent, Matt cover stock, Blue Interior Covers, ads on p. 44 & "Free Funnies" ad on p. 49 had multiple printings (probably 3 or more?), yet I have not come across one with Glossy cover stock (2nd print / JK's 3rd print), does this exist?

50 cent, Blue Interior Covers with FB #2 ad on inside back.

50 cent, Multi-colored (light Blue, Green, dark Blue) Interior Covers with FB #2 ad on inside back (glossy cover???).

50 cent, Pink Paper edition with B&W Interior Covers (same covers as current 6th print / JK's 2nd print), (only 1 Pink Paper edition listed and assuming that is the one with Blue Interior covers).

60 cent has at least 3 printings with difference in type of color printing on cover and T-shirt ads on inside.

Black $2.xx in Yellow Circle printing.

$2.00 / $2.95 Canada printing (assuming the $2.00 printing listed is the Red $2.00 in White circle printing).

$2.50 printing.

$4.95 printing.

Note that JK's 4th print states "no ad at the bottom of page 46" but should state page 44.
(This is the one that has the yellow strip on the top of the cover and no "Free Funnies" ad on p. 49.)

Printings so far?

1st print Blue .50 in White circle with multiple interior covers (that may include red) and BA #1 ad on inside back.

2nd print Blue .50 in White circle Glossy cover with Blue interior covers and BA #1 ad on inside back (does this exist or could it be one of the multiples of the following print?)

3rd print Blue .50 in White circle Matt cover with Blue interior covers and BA #1 ad on inside back, this had multiple printings.

? print Blue .50 in White circle with Blue interior covers and FB #2 ad on inside back cover, has "Free Funnies" ad on p. 49.

? print Blue .50 in White circle with Multicolored (Light Blue, Green, Dark Blue, but no red) interior covers and FB #2 ad on inside back cover, has "Free Funnies" ad on p. 49?

4th print Blue .50 in White circle with Blue interior covers and BA #1 ad? on inside back cover, ads from bottom of p. 44 removed and "Free Funnies" ad on p. 49 changed.

5th print "A" Blue .50 in White circle Pink Paper edition (1973) with Blue interior covers, Coke T-Shirt removed and new ads on p. 44.

5th print "B" Blue .50 in White circle Pink Paper edition with B&W interior covers (from the following 6th print), Coke T-Shrit removed and new ads on p. 44.  (Guts from the 5th print and cover from the 6th print, but stapling locations do not match 6th print.)  Safer to call this a 6th print of it's own? (making subsequent printings one number higher)

6th print Blue .50 in White circle with B&W interior covers with Coke T-Shirt removed.

7th print Black .60 in White circle with B&W interior covers with Coke & Dirty Duck T-Shirts removed.

"8th print?" Black .60 in White circle with B&W interior covers with Coke & Dirty Duck T-Shirts removed, .25" taller than 7th print, scratches by coupon on back cover (this appears to have the guts of the 7th print but the cover of the 9th print, did they just use leftover guts from the 7th print when making the "9th" print?  This is what I suspect.  If so would this be a variant of the 7th print (7th print guts) or of the following next print (which is the same size and has the same cover)?  Kind of the same question for the Pink Paper editions.

9th print Black .60 with B&W interior covers with All T-Shirt ads Removed.  .25" taller then 7th print.

10th print Yellow .75 in White circle.

11th print Red $1.00 in Yellow circle

12th print Black $1.25 in Yellow circle (note this has "FREAK No. 2 BROTHERS" in yellow added).

13th print Red $1.50 in White circle (note this has "FREAK No. 2 BROTHERS" in yellow).

14th? print with Black $2.00 in Yellow circle (REMOVED, no longer has "FREAK No. 2 BROTHERS" in yellow). 

15th? print Red $2.00 in White circle.

16th? print Black $2.00 in White circle.

(Was there a $2.50 without Canadian $ printing?)

17th print Black $2.50 / Can. $3.50 in White circle.

I'd love to update this info. that will probably shake up the printing history of this issue like that of BA #1, but can't until I get a copy of the Freak Brothers #2 later print with the multi-colored interior covers with the FB #2 ad on the back.  Anyone help with a trade?
