50Cent #II (1st print)

This is one of the big reasons I've enjoyed collecting UG's for the past year, find new discoveries.  So I received my copy today and look through it expecting only text.  I come to one beautifully B&W illustrated (not text) story by Iron/Veitch titled "The Creature from the Bolinas Lagoon" and know I've seen it before so figure it's a reprinted story (at first I thought that it was from Up From The Deep, but now I see that the back cover is from this story, but it wasn't actually in that comix.  I find that it was in the Deviant Slice Funnies #1 from 1972, but Big Sky is from 1971.  So the story in DS #1 is a reprint and this is the original story (unless someone says it was printed somewhere else earlier).  I think this deserves to be considered UG for having a full 4 page story.
Here's a scan of the front and back for the Wiki.

I'm not sure if it appeared in Big Sky #1 or The Paper #7 and #8 first. Being that The Paper #8 came out on December 12, 1971, perhaps it was Big Sky #1, then again, perhaps Big Sky #1 was published shortly thereafter.

And here's the associated photo gallery for that page: http://www.bigbridge.org/bol-g06.htm.

With the above logic, do you think those two issues of The Paper should be considered undegrounds?

Directly from that article " Issues #7 and #8 of The Paper featured, in two installments, a Greg Irons cartoon entitled ''The Creature From The Bolinas Lagoon''. The cartoon, which originally appeared in the first issue of Berkson's magazine Big Sky, was an ecological horror story of what would happen to Bolinas if the proposed county sewer plan was put into effect."

I would say those papers were "Underground related", not necessarily Underground.
