Anyone here have any issues of Tart? I generally ignore the porn comics that Eros put out, but I have to admit, this one piques my curiosity. I'm looking for a review.

My review, that broad on the cover is nasty, skin and bones... :224:

I have issues 1, 2, and 4 (of 4) and will seek out issue #3 someday.

Tart is definitely not for everyone. That broad on the cover is really a girl. Of course, in the comic I presume she's supposed to be 18 years old, but obviously she looks 13, if that. Her name is Tess and she lusts after her older brother, Michael; a big stud in his twenties with a big dick who is quite the playboy. The stories are basically her adventures and fantasies about her brother, who she does end up having torrid sex with, as I recall. Tess is very jealous of the bimbos that Michael hangs out with, and that leads to some humorous dialogue between Tess and the other characters.

I'm not sure why Tess is made to look anorexic, but it is certainly severe, especially for a comic that is realistically drawn. Her nipples are almost as big as her tits, and her pubes, my God, her pubes stick out like Mick Jagger's lips after a night of lemon sucking and blow jobs.

Despite the incest storyline, the comic is actually quite funny and it is very well illustrated. The interior pages are black and white, but they are drawn with as much care and eye for detail as you see on the covers. Michael also has graphic sex with some hot grown-up women in the books.

As porn books go, this short series clearly had some real talented creatives behind it.

Wow, thanks for the very detailed review, O40! I appreciate it. I think I'm going to pick this up. It seems that Last Gasp has a couple o' issues and a  TPB.

I think Last Gasp is where I picked up my issues.

The comic series sold very well, apparently. My #1 is a third print, and most Eros comics did not make it to a third printing.
