On the news today was a story about a cult leader that was released from jail after 30 years for abusing and having sex with children. His name is George Feigley and he was leader of "The Neo-American Church". Trying to find info. because this guy sounded like a similar story of "Moses David" and his "Church of God". Well it doesn't appear they are related, but I found that there was a "The Neo-American Church" that was started by a follower of Leary, that tried to make hallucinogens (acid and payote) legal to it's members. I don't know if the same name organizations were related, but I came across a book called The Boo Hoo Bible by Art Kleps. Seems the early printings (this one from 1971) had a $5 cover price and $2.95 for later editions. A description on Abe shows one having this "History of the Psychedelic Movement Cartoon and Coloring Book". I can't tell if it's all the same book or more than one book, but it sounds like this might be an possible unknown Underground Comix to me?

Anyone have one of these and can provide more info?
Just found this, it's by Leary from 1967. Looks like it's a different book and interesting.

From the eBay listing:
"I purchased this from an officer that worked in the Poughkeepsie Township police department. He obtained it from the Dutchess county S.O. before they burned several hundred copies that had been confiscated from the Millbrook Estate raid.
Very few copies of this book are in existance. Art Kleps himself didn't have a clean copy. I will also include and email of a correspondence between the cop and Art Kleps in 1996. Kleps also stated that the remainder of the inventory was lost in Vermont. EXTREMELY RARE BOOK."

Note that this book with a $2.00 cover price is from 1967 and mentions a review (appearing about the same time in an East Village Other and reprinted in the 2nd edition of The Boo Hoo Bible) of the "The Neo-American Church Catechism Handbook, A Review".
Another book you can find info. on here:

What other coloring books are associated with Ug's? Advanced Dungeon and Dragons Coloring Album (1979, Irons), Soft-core Pornograhic Coloring Book, Cunt Coloring Book???
Speaking of Coloring Books, anyone have a Black Panther Coloring Book?
There are others, but the first one that springs to mind is the Chicaga Legends Coloring Book (1984). I don't know if I'd call it underground, but if it's a not-quite-for-kids type thing you're looking for, this is it. Here are a few pics taken from eBay:
just a quick one--i've got a copy of the boo-hoo bible, and though it's got a lot of illustrations, it is definitely not an underground comic (or coloring book) by any stretch. no art by any underground "names" i recognize, either.
