Zap Comix #3

[50Cent #II (1st print)]

Thought I would post some info. I've come up with on the printing of Zap Comix #3.

I was very confused on this until today going through multiple copies of this.  I've found 3 different versions of Zap Comix #3 with a .50 cent cover price.

1st print is a thicker cover stock (reminds me of construction paper) with a MATTE satin finish (it is VERY thick and Very Matte, almost no gloss at all, if you have doubt then it's not a 1st print).

2nd/3rd print uses a heavy glossy cover stock, it's not very noticeable, but compared side by side with the 3rd print you can notice it.

3rd/2nd print has thin glossy cover stock. 

So now you know when you're looking for one...

The lowest one is a variant of the 3rd/2nd print I came across that has almost now yellow on the figure running up the stairs.
