I don't know if I'm right about this, but it may refer to an advertisement found in Dopin' Dan #1, 1st (or 2nd) edition (http://sirrealcomix.mrainey.com/page/d/DopinDan01-1.htm), at the bottom of page 24, right after the Trots and Bonnie story.  If I remember correctly, the Kennedy Guide stated that the Trots and Bonnie comic advertised was never published.

The only collection of T&B I've ever heard of was one published in French in France which was confirmed in an email from Ms. Flenniken many years ago when I stumbled onto her website and wrote her about the possibility of a T&B book.  Still would like to score one of those.
