Cereal art???

Cocoa Puffs 'n Honeycomb for me.  But I have a fondness for Crunchberries, too.  I often pour a bowl and leave it dry.  The bowl sits next to my computer and I snack off of it all evening.

The "Cereal Art" isn't as good as it use to be.
Back in the day we had Linus the Lionhearted and SugarBear, ect. (Post Cereals)
Nothing like a 90 infomercial on Sugar Cereals disguised as Saturday morning cartoons.
Transfered over onto the boxes.
Those were the days.
Sigh.....

I like the classics, like Wheaties, Corn Flakes and RIce Krispies, but I have probably consumed 50 different cereals in just the past year. More often than not, I lean towards Cap'n Crunch, Honeycomb, Rice Chex, Life and almost any chocolate kid's cereals.

Cap'n Crunch is probably the all-time favorite among the sweet cereals, while Life is the front runner in the adult category.

Always did like the Captain.
I remember when it first came out.
Step mom wouldn't buy it, so had to use my allowence to buy a box for myself and hoard it from my older siblings.
Torn the crap out of the roof of my mouth.
Gotta love it!

I think my favorite sugar cereal has always been Cocoa Pebbles. On a related note, Scott Shaw! did artwork and package design for the Pebbles cereals for years and probably still does...

Funny, 'cause he's the guy that came up with the Turd monster comic.

Yeah, it's a great disappointment! The toys were always half the fun...

I don't know how many boxes I bought when I was a kid just so I could get the toy inside!

My friend stated that one of the reasons they did anyway with cereal toys is because people were ripping open the boxes to steal them in the stores, not sure if that is true or not. I mean all I could see would be cereal everywhere so I'm not sure I get that...??? I guess the toys were that popular or something...
