I'm not sure which issue he appeared in, but Hunt Emerson's Firkin the Cat first appeared in a British soft porn magazine entitled Fiesta in 1981.
what about FEDS N HEADS for 1st appearance of Freak Bros in comix (1968)? otherwise i always thought a Gothic Blimp would be their 1st appearance in tabloids...

i would argue short order #1 is the 2nd Maus appearance in u-comix (non-beast fable)...
