Title: the Revolution (U.K.)
Post by: 50Cent #II (1st print) on February 29, 2008, 08:57:26 PM
Anyone know about this Underground U.K./British magazine, 24 pages of American Underground Comics mostly R. Crumb art, Fat Freddy's Cat and Freak Brothers, from 1970 with R. Crumb art called "the Revolution"?

I think this may have been a bootleg out of Holland. It's listed on this page: http://web.comhem.se/~u87008863/checklist/holland.html (http://web.comhem.se/~u87008863/checklist/holland.html).

Rev.  thought I missed it last time, but again I searched that site and didn't find any "Revolution" listed.

It's toward the bottom of the page, listed as:

"Twentyfour (24) pages filled with just a collection of american underground comics."

It doesn't mention "Revolution," though I suspect it's one of the stories in the comic.

Someone in the Netherlands is selling a copy on Abe for $43.99, right here (http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/BookDetailsPL?bi=752121645&cm_ven=PFX&cm_cat=affiliates&cm_pla=links&cm_ite=k44983&pfxid=a_150180478).

Thanks, looks to be the same barring the years (one states 1970, one states 1975) but I think you are probably correct.
