Well...actually it's a new edition of Pat R.'s book...but according to this article http://www.comicsreporter.com/index.php/index/cr_sunday_interview_patrick_rosenkranz/
it looks like this new edition contains lots more graphics and lots more new info. Also the interview sez it looks less like a textbook than the hardcover edition did...So I am hoping for something that introduces the old comix to the new masses with this edition.
Let's see if I can post the link correctly this time
No. I can't. OK...so copy the link above into your browser. Then remove the first superfluous "http". Then remove everything after the word "rosenkranz" and it will work.
Try this:
http://www.fantagraphics.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=1456&category_id=444&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=62
This article has a long interview with him...and shows pix of some of the new stuff in the book. http://www.comicsreporter.com/index.php/index/cr_sunday_interview_patrick_rosenkranz
Cool... I really enjoy the original so I will be sure to pick this up as well.
Thanks for the heads up.

Nice stuff. Can't wait to get the book. Patrick has a good grip on the historical significance of UG comics while recognizing the inherent limited appeal of the genre.
There's a limited appeal to this stuff? :sad8:

Jay, thanks for the heads-up on the new book. Some great reading just in the interview, so hope the book is as much fun to read.
