I got a copy of this book today and I would say it is say to assume this stamp is not inside all the copies?

Yeah... I have no clue why it's there or why it was placed there, all I know is I was not told it was there when I bought it. =/

Oh well, I guess the price I paid fits the bill.

I'm sure it's a previous owner's stamp of ownership and has nothing to due with the issuer.

I assumed that was the woman's full name: Melissa Jay Craig. There are others out there with the name, like this one: http://web.mac.com/melissajaycraig/Melissa_Jay_Craig/Melissa_Jay_Craig_home.html.
