I just don't understand sellers like this. First of all, where the hell is he getting these prices from? He's obviously not using a price guide of any sort. Secondly, if he's going to list things at exorbitant prices, why doesn't he check to see if any of the items he's listing are already up on eBay. For instance:

His:

Armadillo #2 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170256274872) ($450)

Theirs:

Armadillo #2 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220245115489) ($24)
Armadillo #2 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200119135636) ($40)

Is it that difficult to do a little bit of research?

If someone's going to drop $750 on a comic, I'd hope the buyer would take the time to do a little research, too.

Exactly, to drop that kind of money on a comic, you better know what the hell you're doing.

I emailed the seller and asked if he had one too many zeros in his starting price. His response - "nope"

At least he didn't threaten to pull your spine through your mouth, or some other friendly type of activity that a lot of eBay sellers being called out like to do.

I bet if you bought that armadillo, he'd throw in that elvis sportcoat free!

It doesn't appear that he has sold any UGs before.  At least not on ebay from that ID.

I only pay 20x what a comic is worth if the back cover is missing.
