50Cent #II (1st print)

I've read a couple of you are getting UG series bound and wondered what are the best ones to do so?

Zap Comix
Freak Brothers
Fat Freddy's Cat (only the later regular size run #1-7 $2.95 cover price version?)
Weirdo
Underground Classics
Rip Off Comix (would have to be at least 2 books, one regular size and one oversized).
Bijou Funnies
Slow Death
Snarf
Skull
American Splendor
Arcade
Comix Book
Bizarre Sex
Omaha  the Cat Dancer
Cherry
Commies from Mars
Cartoon History of the Universe
Dr. Atomic
San Francisco Comic Book
Tits & Clits
Wimmen's Comix
Young Lust (difficult do to the size of #6)
Yellow Dog (#13-25)
Last Gasp Comix & Stories
One-Fisted Tales

Probably best to get the most recent printings for the least chance of size variances between issues.

Any others?

can u imagine having that library?  killer...

i am doing 4.95 copies of FFFB & various current printing ZAPs (w/ a Donahue 4th Zap #0).  i was concerned about having them all relatively close in size, to limit the trimming and loss of art at the edges.  Zap Comix #10 is noticeably smaller in almost all printings i believe, so that drives that series to some degree

which titles have a TPB?  there is an affordable BIJOU TPB that Donahue sells sometimes, and AS is collected (but not in actual comic book order i believe).

also, some titles might be prohibitive, like SF, just b/c #1 gets so much money.  i did buy a PR 0.5 copy that was incomplete and missing the last 2-3 pages.

i definitely want to try for UG CLASSICS, that would be sweet.  but i dont even have all the books yet.  the main thing with books for binding is look for books that are structurally sound with a similar page quality, but spine stress and edge damage do not matter.

There is an interesting Zap collection in TPB of all the R. Crumb stories from the first eleven issues titled Love To Ten that was supposedly published in an edition of 3000 in Scotland.  A total pirate edition, but still kind of spiffy on the shelf. And there is the 2 volume complete Freak Brothers set published in the UK, Anthology of Slow Death, and The Young Lust Reader...just a few TPB's that have material culled from your list.  Also there is Mindwarp Anthology, The Best Of The Rip Off Press TPB's and possibly some other UG compilations that aren't springing to mind...of course..The Snatch Sampler is a grand one for the shelf....
