50Cent #II (1st print)

I know all of you don't read just comics, so maybe someone can help...

Any Charles Bukowski fans here that can help me out?  I've got a weekly editorial essay from "Open City" underground newspaper from 1967 (he started them in I think issue #2 in 1967 until probably the folding of Open City in 1969) by Bukowski ("Notes of a Dirty Old Man"), but I don't know which issue it's from (date?).  These where collected into a book in 1969 with the same title that became his first popular book even though he had been writing for many years before hand, and rereleased in 1981.  If you aren't familiar with Bukowski, you may have seen Barfly (1987) in which Mickey Rourke plays him.  I've checked my local libraries online and they don't have a copy.  Anyone happen to have a copy of this book and can check for me if the book shows the date or issue from which it came?

It's starts out: "the other night I found myself at a gathering -" and ends "...while I roll a bit of Bull Durham.  wanta drag?"

Open City #20 (September 14-21, 1967)

Just watched Bukowski  Born into This via NetFlix online.  Didn't know he did illustrations also for some of his books, so I looked him up in the Kennedy and he's credited for a few pages in Arcade #3.

His book The Day It Snowed In L.A. is mostly his illustrations.  I prefer the books that have Crumb's illos, though, if it's the pitchas you're into.....ow I dig Buk's prose a lot more than his poetry.
