50Cent #II (1st print)

Info. regarding Deep 3-D (2nd print) from Fishnuts eBay listing.
"Deep 3-D Comix #1 and it is a second printing. Of course, the glasses are included and they are stapled to the front cover, as all were from that run. AND it's is the real second printing from January 1972...says so inside front cover. The information on this title in the fUG is incorrect, with the book listed therein as a second printing is really the third printing, etc. Further, the listing show 1971 as the publishing date, which is incorrect as the first printing clearly states publish date of Summer 1970. Since this book is not accurately listed in the fUG, we can only estimate it's value at around $20."

Under Bizarre Sex #1 (7th-9th print) is states same as #2 (2nd print).  Does that mean that the contents are not of #1 but of #2, or is this a typo and it should read #1?

50Cent #II (1st print)

#18
Auto-be Recycled has the 2nd print listed before the 1st print.
So does Bitch in Heat #1 & 2.

50Cent #II (1st print)

#19
Four-Fisted Tales #2 has a $1.50 cover price, not $1.25.  Might have already listed this???

Rat Fink Comics had 9 issues, not just 3.

Gang Bang #2 has 2nd print listed before the 1st print.

50Cent #II (1st print)

There was a signed and numbered (of 100) version of Smoot #1.

Thanks, if anybody has more to add you can quote and then edit to a new post.
I noticed that FUG doesn't list "Toe-Jamb Funnies" & both issues 1 & 2 of "Frezno Funnies," altho both are in Kennedy.  Will these be added to the supplement?  The Hippie Comix website says that the supplement was due out last fall but when I called them they said it's been postponed to this July.  The site doesn't have any provision for adding suggestions, tho (not that I could find anyway).

Just use this thread, Dan checks it occasionally.

Don't forget to add Frezno Funnies 1 & 2.  The 2nd one is a tabloid.

I put up a couple copies of Pettibone's Captive Chains (not listed in the FUG, but is listed in the JK long before Pettibone became known) for sale at $60 and they both sold within a few hours so I'm thinking that jwcomix's price of $158 (from a sale in 2003) is probably about right for retail.  This was an Underground Comix and not one of the many mini-comix Pettibone did, and the only one of Pettibone's full comix that was listed in the JK.

Also sold a copy of Dependant Lividity by Robert Williams (also not listed in the FUG) for $60 that only had 400 copies printed in 1989.

One more, a copy of Hup by Gary Panter (from approx. 1977) sold for $30 right quick, this wasn't listed in JK either, but is mentioned by "the Father of Punk Art" in this interview as his first work after he arrived in L.A.

something that struck me is why Fogel goes by 9.4 for NM and OS goes by 9.2.  Isn't a high grade Ug a lot less likely with the low print runs?  I would think 9.0 would be a better choice?

What do you consider a low print run? For Last Gasp stuff that was printed in batches of 10-20,000 copies, 9.4 seems fair. When you're talking about something that was printed once, thirty years ago, in a run of 500, 9.0 is much more realistic.
