Thoughts...?

For a couple months now I've been working on an UnderGround Comix article (for no specific reason except to put together in one spot information I've come across that I thought was interesting).
It's getting big (at about 36 pages) and I don't know where to go with it now.  I've sent some earlier rough drafts to some people and haven't gotten many responses, but there is a lot of info. in it that I think would be invaluable to others (if you're interested in reading it, you can send me your e-mail address).  I'm toying with idea of putting it online as a Wikipedia type article that can be edited/added to by others?  It's still a rough draft that needs to be gone through  and rewritten to something coherent.  Anyone have suggestions on how to host a Word document article with pictures and footnotes (lots)?

Yes, he stated he's interested, but since it is so long that he would only use some parts of it for the supplement and maybe use it later in the next Guide.

Not that I'm not happy with that.  It still needs a lot of work and I don't know if I've got enough energy to finish it.  Also, if it's in the next Guide, that will probably be years away.  That's a long time to have this info. not out there or maybe get lost and not released...

So I see your point. I guess it's hard to call. Sure it would be cool to have it in print but like you said, when. I'd say if you are going to post it anywhere on the web, what better place then here?

I've read the rough draft, it's excellent work, the only reason I didn't e-mail back a comment is that I really had nothing to add. It all depends, I think it would be good to get at least some of it into print, but I'd love to see it posted on the wiki here, as well.

I'm glad you found it 50cent, that means other folks will too.
Did you see the  .fpx (flash?) version? can you see the illustrations?

I couldn't see the flash version, and the text only version doesn't seem to include the numerous footnotes, but you get the gist of it...

It's loaded with good info, 50C, but it needs a lot of work to read like a "magazine article." If I weren't swamped with my own crap, I'd love to help you out. When I launch my UG site next year, I'll be back in touch to collaborate on a revision, if you're interested.

In the meantime, of course, you should spread the word far and wide.

Flash files on the web end in the suffix .swf. The raw Flash file would have an .fla suffix.
Over40artist is correct. It needs extensive editing to make it more accessible for a mass audience...ummm, mass audience and undergrounds? Hey it's the internet. Nice work though. I appreciate the info.

If anyone is really interested in Flash, I am a developer, and will help for free.
