Here's an oddity that I found on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150194069831.

If you're familiar with Rolling Stones Concert Comix (1981), you'll notice that the comic in that particular auction has a completely different cover, showing the Louisiana Superdome. My guess is that different versions of this comic were created for different venues, though I've never seen a variation until now. Perhaps this was the only alternate version there was.

I didn't bid on the auction, mainly because the book is a bit worn and I didn't want the other miscellany, so I made a deal after it concluded without any bids. I'll compare the contents with the standard version and update this thread when I receive it.

If any of you have yet another version of this, I'd love to hear about it.

In the event that you haven't seen said standard version, here's what it looks like:

The one on ebay has a raido station's call letters in the lower right corner.
From this I would guess the station paid for a customized cover. (and full page ad on back?)
I would also guess that each venue had costumized ads inside, even if the covers were the same.
