50Cent #II (1st print)

Didn't the last one I saw on eBay last year go for $800? :headbang:

As far as I know, there were two versions of that statue, one which was unsigned (3,000) and one which was signed and numbered (100). The one that went for $800 was likely the signed edition.

Edit: Here are a few pics I found of the signed version: http://www.vividvision.com/crumb.html.

I don't think so.  It was discussed on the old CPG forums, but I couldn't find it when I did a search.  I think I mentioned that it wasn't even the signed version and I recall someone saying another one went for around a thousand not long before.  I think I also mentioned how this had a 3,000 edition, much more than others, yet for some reason the Catholic School Girl one goes for a lot more.

Tried again, but can't find the thread.  It might have been in the long thread that got deleted?  Anyone recall the thread?

Won these two, but lost out to a board member the Fritz the Cat #2 U.K. bootleg (do you have a U.K. address to ship to or did they agree to ship overseas ComixBible?)

Thought I read somewhere that Dogman had a really low print run, but doing a search I can't find it now in this forum or the old CPG forum?  Rev. was that you that stated that, but I'm sure you would have bid on it if you had?

1,000 copies according to Nasty Tales, but I thought I had read it on the forums?

I've won some things from him in the past and he does ship overseas.

There were 1,000 copies of Dogman: 100 s/n by both Emerson and Fischer, the other 900 unsigned/unnumbered.

I'm always buying duplicates of the obscure British titles because they haven't come into their own. Normally, I would've bid on that copy of Dogman, but I already have one signed and two unsigned copies, so I passed this time around.

The other Large Cow titles are next to impossible to come by.

My first copy of this one, not high grade, but for $20 shipped who can complain?

50Cent #II (1st print)

Looks interesting?  States 1971 in auction, so I'm not sure if it's the same on listed in Kennedy (1975)?

50Cent #II (1st print)

Hard Cover book that contains R. Crumb's Mr. Natural from 1971

How incredible and rare is this one?
Plymell told me he didn't even have a copy of this until he found one last year, he said the only copy he knew about was "the only other copy I knew of was with Glenn Todd, the last soul at the Gough St. S.F. pad."

This is the issue that lead to the whole Underground Comix movement (inspired by Yarrowstalks #2's "Head Comix" page).  You can see the inside bootleg page of "Head Comix" from the Yarrowstalks #2.  This is one of my grails for this reason.

As a Post Script, I've negotiated a trade for a Big Ass #1 (1st print) too, so I'm pretty stoked.
