I'm jealous. For one reason or another, I always seem to miss out on these CoG comics/tracts.

Flatlanders looks to have the same character on the cover as Poorkid, which was done by "Jacob Cartoon," whoever he was. I seriously need to add "Children of God" to my saved searches.

Took a chance and won this Big Ass #1 this morning after throwing up a snipe with the new info. out yesterday.  Seller states it's a 5th print with glossy paper.   Just might be a 1st print then.  But since it hasn't arrived, there's no guarantee.  But if anyone is looking for a chance at a first print then you can have it for $30 shipped directly to you (shipping is $8.60 unregistered airmail, so with Paypal fees it's only about $20 for me or $10 profit) from the Netherlands as I've already got one...

I won this lot and thought it was a nice one.  9 issues of Atom Mind (2 I think with R. Crumb covers), 7 of the issues are signed by Poets including Charles Plymell.

Ordered a copy of Fux! Megascene (1965) by Branaman.  It's a softcover book/magazine printed by Branaman, I believe featuring his art.  Hope it arrives before I meet him and he can sign all 3 items.
I've seen 2 references to the title being Megascean, but I don't think they actually had a copy of it.

No, I don't believe it's a lie. Doing a Google search, I found a few articles:

Key sentence from this:

A lawsuit commenced after this was printed between Hooters organizations and forced the recall of the comic books after shipping.

I'm assuming this might mean that one of the Hooters franchisees authorized it while another didn't.

Just received these yesterday.  Nice set.  I opened one up (the Free Wheelin' Franklin cover) and found a article by Geerdes called Comicrape with a pic. of the Zap #7 mini.  I'll have to read it and post when I get a chance.

New seller on eBay that didn't take Paypal.  But when I got the invoice it stated they preferred Paypal, but didn't have the invoice set up to pay via Paypal, just a Paypal e-mail address to send the funds to.  Probably just a novice seller...
