50Cent #II (1st print)

In September the reserve was only $800, I think this book is valued so high because a lot of people mistake R.Fuck For  (R.Crumb or R.Cum,R.Scum) instead of Rory Hayes. I just Bought a VF copy for $150 (pulp)

Nice to see you posting artystyc, the FB #1 went out today via Insured signature confirmation Priority Mail.
Saw the Cunt you picked up, nice...

I could have had that Cunt with the $150 Buy It Now, but I'm really trying not to spend much on comix right now (Motor City #1 purchase notwithstanding). I'll probably regret passing on it if/when I make a serious effort to get that book.

:01_bounce:Glad you didn't buy it! I bid in the original auction the seller offered  me a second chance at $230  because the high bidder backed out. I  told him I would only pay the amount that It would have been if I wasn't outbid. So he listed it as a Buy it now @ $155 for me.

The white page is high because Mike sold one for $800 and another for $900 at San Diego this summer. He wa shoting of $1000 then.

That was kind of foolish of the seller to list it like that, though. Anyone could have hit that Buy It Now. Well, if it was meant for you, then I'm glad I didn't pop the BIN.

Yeah, I was a little bent that he listed it like that. But, It was meant to be so I am Happy!

It sold for $28K (looks like it met reserve), nice pick-up and only about $3 an issue, and I thought $40K would still be a good deal (but you can't get blood from a turnip, as in blood being money and me being a turnip).

Update,

Interesting, I just got this e-mail from eBay regarding this lot:

has been ended by eBay. Since the listing was ended by eBay, for the transaction itself is null and void.

To protect the privacy of all eBay members, we can't discuss the details of the listing removal. We hope this assures you that your account information will also remain private.

If the seller relists the item, you are welcome to bid on it again.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Thank you for your understanding.

I got a notification like that from eBay after I had completed an auction.  Can't remember if it was a "Buy It Now".

That means eBay ended on their own or somebody reported it for whatever reason and eBay ended it. It always seems weird when those go out after the auction has ended normally...
