50Cent #II (1st print)

Dr_S, I think you might have something like this if you organized it all...

oldmilwaukee6er

is it the spinner racks?
i must admit my new underground comix den does not looked that that well stocked.

as an aside, i had the pleasure of poppin' in on over40artist's u-comix man-cave & it is soooo schweet.  lots of undergrounds w/ a depth of keys, beer fridge, etc etc etc!  that would get my vote.

i like the thought of a u-comix room (but again, mine will be smaller).

That looks like one of those bookstores I literally dream about...

Yeah, and that's someone's home.  I'm told it's only about 1/3 the collection (not including the records).

I thought it was yours, Guy. Who has this one?

At their request, I shall call them "anonymous".

On a different note, I recently discovered that George Erling is still selling Undergrounds.

I just bought this book from him:

looks like he might just be selling a bunch of different stuff on eBay right now, not just comix.

Okay, folks, I'm coming up out of my den (that photo up there) into the harsh light of public scrutiny. Kudos to Guy for respecting my nocturnal nature but, if I'm going to show myself, it might as well be all the way. I just spent much of the last two weeks putting that "Treasure Room" (from my kids) into boxes. I did this so others might finally have a shot at enjoying some of  the many wonders that I've accumulated over 40 years of collecting and 23 as a professional bookseller. Some of you may know me from Ebay from a few years back. At any rate, I plan on helping on the wiki, when and where  I can, and hope to find a little time for posting as well, if modestly at first. Hesitantly, I also offer to accept e-mails concerning specific comix/comix history/forum questions or to re-establish long dormant aquaintances (no wants please). While I don't really have the time to scan much of the forum, I already suspect that I might be able to answer a few questions. While I may have finally cured my 'obsessive-possesive' disease, I can't really unlearn what I know, so I'll try to share.

:rocker:  WELCOME to the boards...

I had to take a double take, that looks sorta like Arnold's house.

That photo begs the question ...

How many books could a Bookchuck chuck, if a Bookchuck could chuck books?

And can you say that 5 times fast?
Collecting is a disease = Obsessive-Possessive Disorder.

Slabbing Undergrounds is sacrilege.

The phrase "Action 1 of the Undergrounds"
makes my skin crawl.

Finally, someone who gets it (my names not chuck). It figures it would be someone in a place like this, as if there's anyplace else like this. To answer the otherwise rheorical question; one hell of a lot in 20+ years of doing it for a living. And saying it often and fast harshes my buzz, so I recommend avoiding it. Sorry, Junky, but also Congrats!
