I remember seeing someone post in the CBG forums about this set with a low print run, so I finally hit the BIN...



And not UG, but I've found the first issue of Southern Knights (initially called The Crusaders #1) don't show up often and I've been waiting for one.

Good stuff, I have the Shocking Fear books, I was discussing them at some point with the Reverend. No wonder I never saw a book called Southern Knights #1. I think that's not a bad book to have, the title was around for quite a while and had a pretty good following at one time.

What I would like is the missing page for this book. It seems that they were ripping off some artist (Frazetta?) and had to tear a page out of every book. Sort of like Seduction of the Innocent. However, I know of copies of SOI with the page ($$$$) Does any one have a page of the GFA with the missing page?

I'll have to check my copy, but I'm fairly certain the page is missing. My copy came with a Xeroxed letter from the author, too, if I'm not mistaken.

Has a copy of The Shortcomings of Red Banana (only 112 Signed and numbered copies and $6 in the JK).  Fairly sure it's Roger May selling them too...

Picked this Nucleus #1 (May 1979) from the Roger May purchases and was surprised to find a Cerebus story in it (p. 2-6).  The Kennedy Guide states this is the first appearance of Cerebus outside his own series, but the fanzine Gratis I have came out a year before this (Power Comics #1 story isn't Cerebus) so Nucleus #1 is probably the first appearance of Cerebus in a comic book outside his own series.  Fogel's Guide has this listed at $30 in 9.4 and the new OS (2008) has it at $65 in 9.2.
