New seller on eBay that didn't take Paypal.  But when I got the invoice it stated they preferred Paypal, but didn't have the invoice set up to pay via Paypal, just a Paypal e-mail address to send the funds to.  Probably just a novice seller...

Good luck..it's a pretty twisted piece of literature...too bad Matthews is dead...I kind of like his style both in art and writing....a real shame, but a great collection!

I guess it's a good thing your buyer isn't an active eBayer.

twice over means at least 2 buyers. Most comic dealers i know buy from eBay for resale and sell their lesser stuff on it. As you can see, I pay high for resale for stuff I want, so that's the reason my prices are what they are. Besides my clients aren't even in the country except the one who does bid on eBay for Mercedes.

Wow, I didn't know the Gunfighter 3s were going for over $200 each.  I bought 2 locally right after Fogel came out to go with my others.  I think it has the smallest print run of the Gunfighters but I may be wrong. Someone told me around 300? copies.... Sweet, I got 2.3% of the print run. I'm not sure if i recall correctly but isn't the size of those books just a bit bigger than the regular size comix?  I may have to put those babies to the side if they are shooting up that quickly.

According to Kennedy there are 200-300 copies. I have a client who wanted it and would pay me $$$. However, I lost out on it twice at $300. I was happy to get the copy I did since I means I have a sale. I don't think I would bid $300 for a copy anymore. since I have filled a hole. But, if you want to trade yours or sell it for $150 let me know. If you are going to be at the San Diego con, come to table J9 at the end of the 1200 aisle (by the food)

I wish I was going to the SD con this year.  I have the time off but I'm still repairing damage around my property from a couple storms in late May and June.  I'm just happy that I got my roof fixed as soon as I did before more storms blew the rest of it away.  There's been so much tornado/hail/wind damage around my area that the construction guys are making a fortune.
Hey, as little as 200 copies?!?!   I noticed the first 3 issues were made in Lincoln but with three different addresses for each issue, I think.  I might have to do more digging around Lincoln and see if there might be any more issues sitting around. There's lots of UG collectors around here. If I find anymore, I'll let everyone know.

Thanks.  I've seen 3 of these on eBay and won them all (though didn't received the 1st one from Neat Stuff).  So I'm estimating they show up about once every 6 months on average.

Sir Real, you should have a link to your site in your sig.

These really aren't my cup of tea, but for $5 I couldn't pass them up...

1st print (nice that they misspelled the name "Hedde" and didn't mention the # in the title).

Not really familiar with either underground newspaper (the Staff or Grass Roots).

Just received these yesterday.  Nice set.  I opened one up (the Free Wheelin' Franklin cover) and found a article by Geerdes called Comicrape with a pic. of the Zap #7 mini.  I'll have to read it and post when I get a chance.

The 25 Aug. 1972 also has a article by Geerdes titled Comix World (Air Pirates Comics! Page) p. 16-17.
